Breakfast was served promptly at the 123 Coffee House in Sharp Street. The food and service was wonderful and recommended for a future visit.
With excellent planning, we had arrived on market day so, after appetites were sated, we wondered off to do our own thing including exploring the markets.
Sue, the Koppes and the Pembers had decided to meet up around 11.30am to head back to Canberra by a more scenic route. With the Koppes in the lead the convoy headed out of Cooma along the Mittagang Road crossing the Murrumbidgee River at Binjura onto Shannons Flat Road. The scenic drive along Shannons Flat Road was blacktop for a good distance until eventually turning into gravel at Jones Plain Road. The convoy continued on Shannons Flat Road and continuing onto Bobeyan Road through Namadgi National Park onto Naas Road and eventually back into suburbia ACT where the convoy split up to go their various ways.
If you are looking for a great social outing, then BLCs are the way to go.
