The committee recommends the following change (Highlighted below) to Part 2, Section 2, Sub-section 3 of the Land Rover Club of ACT (LRC) Constitution. (Link to full Draft Constitution – 2026 below)

This proposed change is necessary to ensure the LRC Constitution better aligns with the legal definition of a single paid-up membership whilst ensuring the integrity of a family membership is maintained, which is fundamental to our club’s character.

The Committee commends this proposed change to the members:

(3) Each person of a family membership shall be taken to be and have the same rights as an individual member subject to the following:

At any given time, only one person of a family membership shall be eligible to:
a)         Serve as an office bearer on the club committee in accordance with rule 13;
b)         Vote in accordance with the requirements of rule 30.
